Pawan Kalyan made sensational comments on allotting tickets during elections. He told , in PRP, they tried to maintain a balance between the castes by giving seats to all castes. But in Janasena, seats will be allotted based on the prospects of candidate winning as MLA in the constituency rather than anything else, Pawan Kalyan said.
Pawan Kalyan made these comments during his meeting at Amalapuram. it is known news that Chiranjeevi gave more than 100 seats to backward castes in 2009 without bothering the candidates prospects of winning. However, this strategy backfired and Chiranjeevi Praja Rajyam party eventually disappeared from Political screen. Now, Pawan Kalyan says he doesn’t want to repeat the same mistake and he can’t give seats based on castes. While answering to a question of a person from weaving community that whether Janasena can give 2 tickets to their community in upcoming elections, he made these comments. He also added that, whether the party is resolving the issues of the community or not is more important than how many tickets are given to that particular community.
Surprisingly, Pawan Kalyan comments received appreciation from the people of weaving community present in the meeting, even though he didn’t assure any seats to their community.
