Mythri Movie Makers emerged as the top production house in no time after Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage and Rangasthalam ended up as massive hits. Soon, things altered after the production house announced a series of films and those flicks ending up as duds. The production house received a jolt after Mahesh Babu’s film with Sukumar in their production got shelved. The actor even returned the paid advance and Mythri Movie Makers are in talks with Allu Arjun and NTR for two big budget films.
Sukumar is busy penning the script of Allu Arjun’s film and the project rolls during the end of this year. The production house wanted to setup the combo of NTR and Prashanth Neel which may not happen any time now as NTR gave his nod for Trivikram. With Dear Comrade ending up as a disaster, pressure mounted on Mythri Movie Makers who are now engaged with a series of medium scaled films. CV Mohan’s exit from the production house too is an unexpected shock for them.
Mythri has all their hopes now on Nani’s Gang Leader which will release next month. Its high time for Mythri Movie Makers to slow down and rely on content rather than setting up combinations.
