Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan is currently doing his Praja porata Yatra in Godavari districts and he is getting tremendous response in these districts which are considered strong forte for janasena. With this, the equations in these districts are changing and some of the leaders are considering joining janasena party. In some other cases, even though the leaders are not very keen on changing party, their cadre and followers are pressurizing them to change the party. TDP MLA Thota Trimurthulu is facing similar situation.
Thota trimurthulu earlier contested from PRP in 2009 but lost it to Pilli Bose in Ramachandrapuram constituency. In 2014 a contested from TDP and he won from same constituency on Bose. Because of caste equations he expected ministry in TDP government. His cadre actually expected deputy CM post to him. However Chandrababu Naidu preferred Nimmakayala chinna rajappa for that post,who is also from the same community. Moreover Trimurthulu did not get any ministry in Chandrababu Naidu cabinet. So his cadre has been pressurising him to change the party.
Most of his cadre also belong to the same community as his and most of them are followers of Pawan Kalyan. So they want their leader also to be in Janasena. Trimurtulu is also considering to pull his son Prithviraj into politics . With TDP it may not be possible to get 2 seats for his family. On the other hand janasena also has very good prospects of winning seats in the district especially in the constituencies of Ramachandrapuram, Kakinada rural and Mandapeta.
We will have to wait and see if Trimurtulu obliges the request of his cadre and change his loyalty to Janasena.
