The actress does demand a huge fan following in Telugu, no wonder producers are ready to pay her a staggering Rs 1 crore per film. But it does come as a surprise that she is being paid the same amount for her next film with Vishal, which is in Tamil.
“It’s understood that Vishal wants a wide market in Tollywood too and roping the actress in would prove a huge value addition for his film in this market. It will also give Rakul scope to widen her market to Kollywood. It’s a win-win situation actually,” shares a source.
The film titled Thupparivaalan, is a directorial of Mysskin and is a thriller. Jagapathi Babu will be seen in a key role in the film which marks Rakul’s comeback into Tamil cinema after her 2014 film Yenamo Edho.
