Following the stupendous success of Oopiri/ Thozha, the remake plans in Bollywood have picked some pace. From the past couple of days, several media houses have been reporting that the Hindi version will feature Amithab Bachchan in the lead and both Ranbeer Kapoor and Varun Dhawan are in talks to reprise Karthi’s role.
According to latest buzz in Bollywood circles, leggy lass Kriti Sanon is likely to play the leading lady’s role for the Hindi version. It is learnt that the makers are keen on roping in Kriti Sanon as she is an apt choice for the role which has a good scope for acting with glamour attached to it. A close source to Kriti Sanon revealed that she has been approached for the role and she is yet to take a call.
Karan Johar acquired the remake rights of the film and is planning to make the Hindi version a bigger hit. We can expect an official word once the cast and crew are finalized.
