Rana Daggubati is one actor who has been picking up unique films and he is not bothered about essaying the lead role. He signed an adventure drama Haathi Mere Saathi which is directed by Prabhu Solomon. Most of the film has been shot across Thailand and in Kerala. Rana Daggubati lost 15 kgs for the role and the film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Eros International is producing this big budget action adventure.
The makers initially announced that the film will release during Diwali. The last schedule of the film is delayed as Rana Daggubati is occupied with the shoot of NTR. The last schedule will commence from November with which the entire shoot of Haathi Mere Saathi will be wrapped up. There has been extensive VFX work in the film and hence the makers are keen on releasing the film during May next year in summer. The official release date of Haathi Mere Saathi will be announced once the shoot gets wrapped up. Haathi Mere Saathi is all about a relationship shared by a man and elephant. Rana Daggubati has been specially trained before the film’s shoot.
