Pawan Kalyan is all set to resume his Praja Porata yatra from tomorrow from West Godavari district. Ahead of his tour, he met Undavalli farmers yesterday and interacted with them. It is known news that these farmers are opposing land acquisition for capital city. Farmers of Undavalli urged Pawan Kalyan to somehow save them from losing their lands as government is trying hard to acquire their lands. After interacting with them, Pawan spoke emotionally and told, he is ready to face bullets to save farmers.

Farmers told to Jana Sena Chief, ‘We voted for TDP in 2014 only because you supported them and we believe in you. But ever since TDP government is formed, we have been harassed by the government to give away our lands.’ Farmers urged Pawan Kalyan to save them from losing their lands. After listening to them patiently, Pawan announced that he will stand by them and fight for them and in this fight he is ready to face bullets also. Pawan added, in his earlier tenure, Chandra Babu lost power because of Basheerbagh incident in which police fired on people and it didn’t come into power for 10 years. If CM wants to acquire lands using bullets, he will have to face similar fate again.

Pawan also reminded that, in the past 24,000 acres have been acquired Vizag steel plant but only 12,000 acres have been utilized. But those who sacrificed lands for the plant are living in very poor conditions now. He said similar thing should not happen now and concluded saying, building world class capital should not be at the cost of lives of farmers.
