Renu Desai in a recent interview expressed her wish for remarriage after a rough relation with actor-cum-politician Pawan Kalyan which ended about seven years ago. She shared the dream of leading the rest of her life with an understanding partner.
However, this did not go down-well with some hate-mongers who have been storming her inbox with messages asking her not to marry again. A shattered Renu in a Facebook post expressed her sadness and the two-facedness of the society.
She noted, “In our country a man can do anything and can marry any number of times. But a woman can’t even think about another relation”.
The actor questioned, “if a lady has to live alone life long and feel guilty about the mistake she has done in the past?”
She hoped that the future generations are imbibed with a sense of compassion towards women and change in their mind-set.
On the work front, Renu made a comeback as television host of a dance-based show named ‘Neethone Dance’.
