It has been a underwhelming Friday at the Box-office even though there was partial holiday for Muharram.

Vikram’s Saamy has taken a below par opening in Telugu States with a distributor share of 1.20 Cr. The collections are less than Vikram’s previous notable film Inkokkadu which had collected collected a distributor share of 1.45 Cr on it’s openin day. The film has been bought by Pushyami Film Makers for 8 Crore and there are going to see heavy losses going by the audience reports

Sudheer Babu’s Nannu Dochukundhuvate has taken poor opening in Telugu States with a distributor share of 34 lakhs. The collections are 50 percent of the hero’s previous film Sammohanam which ended up as an Average. But the costs involved for Nannu Dochukundhuvate are too high that it has to do very well in coming days to achieve that average status.
