After making a terrific debut in South with an impressive antagonist role in Shankar’s magnum opus 2Point0, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is set for an encore. As per the latest reports, Shankar is in talks with Akshay Kumar for a crucial role in his next film Indian 2, a sequel to Bharateeyudu.
Shankar initially approached Ajay Devgn for this character. Ajay liked the character and agreed to come on board. However, due to other commitments, Ajay backed out from this crazy project. So, Shankar now initiated talks with Akshay Kumar. It is a negative role and Shankar feels that Akshay could make complete justice to it.
Indian 2 will start rolling from tomorrow. Kamal Hassan and Kajal Aggarwal will play lead roles and Lyca Productions will bankroll the film.
