Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Sankranthi release Soggade Chinni Nayana is continuing its impressive haul in all areas of its release. The film, directed by debutante Kalyan Krishna, has notched up double profits for all the parties involved and also emerged as a biggest hit in Nagarjuna’s career.
Even in its third week, the collections are super strong and the total share is going to touch the 40 Crore mark, which is a rare feat for a senior hero considering the heavy competition and the number of screens it has released. In Overseas, it has minted 825K making it the highest for any debut director in the history of Tollywood.
Nagarjuna’s one man show and the glamour quotient of the female cast helped the film big-time to make it a perfect watch for the audience during the festive season. Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi are the female leads and Annapurna Studios banner has produced the film. Anup Rubens scored the soundtrack.
