Senior leaders from Congress Party, who desire to introduce their sons and daughters as party candidates in upcoming Telangana Assembly elections before taking retirement from the politics, have been facing troubles due to the conditions imposed by the party’s high command.

While few leaders want to give political path to their successors, the high command of the Congress party strictly issued instructions on single ticket to each family and no exemptions except few who are already won in the previous elections. But, few leaders are roaming around Delhi for chances to their successors or kin and seeking two or more tickets from their families.

Former minister and senior leader Mr. K. Jana Reddy is top in the list of such leaders as he would like to introduce is son Raghu Veer in politics. Mr. Reddy who won assembly war for seven times is now busy in convincing the high command and frequently visiting Delhi to meet Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi. Though the high command did not give any assurance, Mr. Raghu has started campaign from Miryalaguda assembly segment while Jana Reddy will be the candidate from Nagarjuna Sagar segment.

Similarly, another former minister Ms. Patolla Sabitha Indra Reddy desires in introducing his elder son Karthik Reddy as a contender from Rajendranagar segment while she will be the candidate from Maheswaram. Mr. Karthik Reddy is already moving pawns in Rajendranagar by launching campaign with his cadre and delivering speeches at colonies to attract both the mass and class people. Mr. Karthik Reddy fought against the GO-111 which restricts multi-storied constructions at the radius of 15 kilometer from Usman Sagar (Gandipate) and Himayath Sagar lakes and partially got succeeded with the National Green Tribunal, which led a good publicity and hopes on him among the voters from the villages under the jurisdiction of Rajendranagar segment.

Another Former Minister Mukhesh Goud is also trying ticket for his son Vikram Goud from Mushirabad and former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav desires his son Anil Yadav to be announced as a candidate from any constituency in Hyderabad city. Former minister from Jogulamba-Gadwal district Ms. D.K. Aruna wants a ticket for his daughter while another former minister from Nalgonda district Mr. Ramreddy Damodhar Reddy seeking ticket for his son Sarvotham Reddy. Voters and political experts are eagerly waiting for the decision of Rahul Gandhi whether he bound to his strict rules or will give exemption to few leaders.
