By now, it is almost confirmed that Mahesh Babu’s Spyder will not make it to the screens on June 23rd as previously announced by its producers. Reliable sources say that the shooting will progress till mid June and the extensive post production activities have prompted the makers to push the film’s release to August.
Trade circles opine that August 11th would be an ideal release date for Spyder as the weekend followed by I’ Day holiday will surely come in handy for the film to dominate the box office. But, sources say that the film is likely to miss August 11th as well.The source adds that the post production might take a little longer and the film could be readied for release on August 25th. An official confirmation will put an end all the speculations regarding the release date.
Directed by Murugadoss, Spyder has Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead and SJ Suryah as antagonist. NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu are producing the film.
