Ambati Rambabu has been with Jagan ever since he floated YSRCP. He has been very loyal to the party and always facing media on behalf of YSRCP. His eloquence in TV debates and loyalty to the party got him good position in the party. However, now it seems, he is very tensed about getting the MLA ticket in the upcoming elections.
It is known news that TDP MLA from Guntur West Modugula Venugopala Reddy is in discussions with YSRCP and as per the political circles, he is almost confirmed to quit TDP and join the YSR Congress party. Before plunging into politics, Modugula was in business and he was one of the promoters of Ramky Group. He has been expressing his displeasure on TDP leadership in offline discussions, of late. But if he joins YSRCP, he may not get the ticket in his current constituency of Guntur west. Even though there are couple of MP constituencies, from where YSRCP can offer the tickets to him, as per the reports Modugula Venugopala Reddy wants to contest as MLA. So, he is asking for Sattenapally ticket.
Ambati Rambabu lost from this constituency with slight margin last time and current speaker of AP, Kodela Siva Prasad won from here. Moreover, Reddy community in this constituency is not happy with Ambati Rambabu, who is from Kapu community, contesting from this constituency in 2019 and they even gave representation to the party requesting not to give ticket to Ambati this time.

It seems, Venugopala Reddy knows all these facts and he is asking for the ticket of this constituency. Because of these latest developments, reportedly, Ambati Rambabu is very much tensed about getting ticket this time. We will have to wait and see how will be his political future.
