The biopic of legendary actress Savitri which has been titled Mahanati has been getting bigger every single day. Directed by Nag Ashwin, Keerthy Suresh has been asked to reprise the role of the legendary actress on screen. Mohan Babu, Samantha, Vijay Devarakonda, Shalini Pandey and Dulquer Salman will be seen essaying other crucial roles in the movie which is currently under shoot.
Super talented director Krish has been approached to play the role of veteran director KV Reddy who directed the classic Mayabazaar. Young director Tharun Bhascker who impressed the audience with his debut film Pelli Choopulu will reprise veteran director Singeetham Sreenivas Rao who worked as an assistant director for Mayabazaar. The duo will join the sets of the film soon and will have crisp roles assigned. Made on a massive budget, Mahanati will hit the screens next year.
