But now Jagan Reddy government is nominating Reddys in 99 per cent of the nominated posts. The latest appointment is that of controversial retired judge CV Nagarjuna Reddy as the Chairman of the AP Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC).
When he was a judge, Justice Nagarjuna Reddy faced impeachment proceedings in Rajya Sabha following complaints by over 60 MPs against his gross misuse of power. He is a native of Kadapa district.
