As Shankarabharanam is gearing up for release, the actors are busy giving interviews and promoting the film in their own way with writer Kona Venkat spear heading the promotions on social media, organising interviews with the team. However one man who is shying away from publicity, staying away from the media glare is Uday Nandanavanam. The sad part is Kona’s PR wing sent a note to the press and an SMS to mention in the news items that Kona Venkat has done the story, dialogues, screenplay and directorial supervision. This means that the director Uday is a first timer and he has hardly done anything and everything has been handled by Kona Venkat himself. Since the writer was busy handling scripts for Akhil, Soukhyam, Dictator, Tripura and he couldn’t be on the sets, Uday was given the responsibility. Now the big question is did Uday Nandanavanam direct the film, if so why is he not being projected as the director?
