Supreme Star Sai Dharam Tej’s brother Vaisshnav Tej is making his debut as a lead actor. Buchi Babu Sana, a protege of Sukumar is on board to direct the film and the shoot of this untitled film is happening on a brisk pace in Hyderabad. Vaisshnav Tej plays a fisherman in this rustic love story and several web portals published that the film is titled Jaalari. There’s no truth in this news and the makers condemned the rumors.
The latest update is that the film is titled Uppena and the makers recently registered the title with the Film Chamber of Commerce. Critically acclaimed Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is on board as the lead antagonist in this romantic drama and Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, Uppena will release during the end of this year.
