Megastar Chiranjeevi is making his comeback to mainstream cinema after a gap of over 8 years and the movie has been titled as Kathilantodu. The action drama is being directed by VV Vinayak and the first schedule of the film has been wrapped up recently. The movie is said to be the remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi which has been directed by AR Murugadoss. Vijay and Samantha played the lead roles which reveals about the struggles faced by Indian farmers.
The makers are leaving no stone unturned on the film and Kathilantodu is being made on a massive budget. As per the latest update we hear, Lady Tiger Vijaya Santhi has been roped in to play a crucial role in the movie. Vijaya Santhi is yet to give her nod and Chiru has been quite interested in roping her for the crucial role. Chiranjeevi and Vijaya Santhi have been part of many blockbusters in the past and all their combination films ended up as blockbusters.
If everything goes fine, she will join the shoot from the third schedule. The female lead in Kathilantodu is yet to be finalized and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Ramcharan is producing Kathilantodu on Konidela Production House and the film will be a treat for the audience during Sankranthi next year.
