It is natural there will be anti-government feeling among the voters that will work against the ruling party in every election. This is what the opposition party mainly depends on. But in AP, it is a different scenario this time. There is Pawan Kalyan contesting alone. He is all set to claim a significant share of this anti-incumbency vote. This has come as a big trouble for Jaganmohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party.

Jagan believes all the neutral voters and anti-incumbency factor will be in favour of his party. He is rejecting Jana Sena Party as a major force at all. It is because of this that Pawan Kalyan has countered arguments that his electoral influence will be limited to just one region only. Analysts say there is no indication as of now whether anti-incumbency will benefit Jagan or Pawan and what would be their respective shares.

There is also one dominant feeling that comparatively speaking, both Jagan and Pawan are seen by voters as far inexperienced while Chandrababu Naidu has already a big track record as the architect of Modern Hyderabad and as one who had put AP in the world map. The general voters cutting across political affiliations are also considering to elect an experienced and proven leader to help bring AP out of the present crisis.
