Heroes and directors have the habit of taking advance from producers to give their future dates. If they fail to fulfill the commitment, the advance will be returned with interest. Or else, they may manage to do a film after some delay. Superstar Mahesh Babu is now facing a similar situation.
At the time of Business Man movie, Mahesh Babu took an advance of 5 Crores from producer RR Venkat of RR Movie Makers. After Business Man, Mahesh and Puri were supposed to team up again for a film under the production house. However, the project didn’t materialize due to several reasons. But, Mahesh didn’t return the advance till date.
Close sources revealed that Mahesh is in a dilemma. He is in plans to somehow honour his commitment to RR Venkat because the advance has inflated to 15 Crores with interest. So, he is looking to do a film quickly for RR Venkat and settle the promise he made six years ago. But, with the busy line up Mahesh has got for the next couple of years, it is going to be very difficult for him to do a film for that banner. It remains to be seen how he comes out of this tricky situation.
