In a shocking development, YSRCP Supremo announced that he would rename Krishna District as NTR District once YSRCP comes to power. YS Jagan’s ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’ went through the Nimmakuru Assembly Constituency in Krishna district. It is well known that NTR is born in Nimmakuru.
The latest development comes at a time after a recent incident where a YSRCP local leader put Sr. NTR photo on a YSRCP flexi. Political analysts opined that YS Jagan has hit the bull’s eye, and his recent statement is likely to fetch him considerable votes in the Krishna district, where TDP is quite strong.
Reacting to this, NTR’s wife Lakshmi Parvathi said, ‘there is no end for my happiness. YS Jagan is doing what NTR’s son-in-law, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and his son, Nandamuri Balakrishna were not able to do.
She also took a dig at the TDP leaders. ‘While YS Jagan is fighting for the AP Special Category Status, the TDP leaders are doing dramas in the name of AP SCS protests. They lack character and integrity’, said Lakshmi Parvathi.
The latest stroke from YS Jagan is considered to be a masterstroke in AP Politics.
