Stylish Star Allu Arjun after a year break launched his next film officially today. The film will be directed by Trivikram and the regular shoot commences from 24th of this month. During a year break, Allu Arjun lined up three new projects. MCA fame Venu Sriram impressed Bunny with a script and the film is titled Icon. The latest news we hear is that Allu Arjun suggested the name of Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt for the heroine’s role.
Alia Bhatt is one of the female leads in SS Rajamouli’s RRR and she is paired beside Ram Charan. The actress charged hefty pay cheque and the makers agreed to pay the fat cheque for Alia. With Allu Arjun suggesting Alia’s name, the makers of Icon are in talks with the top actress. The female lead has enough prominence in the film and Alia’s presence can fetch enough price for the Hindi dubbing rights and other digital rights too. Hence the makers are trying hard to rope in Alia Bhatt for the film.
Dil Raju is the producer and Icon will roll later this year.
