The shooting formalities of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s historical film Gautamiputra Satakarni have been wrapped up in just 79 days. In the final schedule, the whole unit went extra mile to complete the shooting on time. It is learnt that the entire unit has worked 16 hours daily in the last two weeks to wrap up the left over portion. Balakrishna and the principal cast took part in shoot without any gap and completed their portion to avoid further extension of the schedule. The producers are very happy with the efforts put in by the entire unit.
Krish Jagarlamudi is the director for the film which narrates the story of the great Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni. Shriya Saran is playing the princess in the film which also stars Bollywood dream girl Hema Malini essaying the role of Raja Matha. The post production works are currently underway and the film is slated for Sankranthi release. The audio launch will take place in Tirupathi on December 16th.
