Mahesh Babu is the first star hero of this generation to give his nod for a multistarrer (SVSC) and thus bring back the trend of multistarrers in Tollywood. Now, he is in talks for a multistarrer which if materializes can create mass hysteria among class as well as mass audiences.
Mass director Boyapati Srinivas has recently met Mahesh Babu and narrated a subject which will have Balayya Babu as another hero. Although Mahesh is interested to work with Boyapati, he has neither accepted the film nor rejected it. He is likely to have another round of discussions with the director after the release of SPYder and then he will take a final call. If Mahesh gives his nod, Boyapati wants to take the film onto sets from June, next year. He already has Balayya’s call sheets from June 2018.
After the release of SPYder, Mahesh will shift his complete attention to Koratala’s ‘Bharath Anu Nenu’. The film is likely to be released for Sankranthi 2018. Mahesh will immediately take his next film, a family entertainer to be directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt together onto floors. Shooting of this film may be wrapped up or it will be in the last leg by June 2018.
Interestingly, Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are keen to collaborate for another film in their combination in the second half of next year, after they wrap up Paidipally’s and NTR’s films respectively. Neither of them has yet committed for any other project in 2018 indicating that their combo is well on track. However, as Boyapati has now come up with a sensational multistarrer also starring Balayya, Mahesh is in two minds.
Nevertheless, if materializes, Mahesh Babu-Balayya-Boyapati can well be the most exciting project in 2018.
