In view of the election season, TDP chief and CM Chandrababu Naidu had to break his silence on the Lakshmi’s NTR biopic. His comment became significant amid allegations of attempts by RGV to twist real life incidents in NTR’s life to benefit the opposition YCP politically and electorally now.
Naidu said that some vested interests are deliberately trying to misinterpret NTR’s life with an eye on the elections. Such attempts have to be stopped because of issues like they will mislead countless young voters who do not have any idea of NTR’s life. CM appealed to the TDP leaders to remain cautious and hit back at such unprincipled persons.
Naidu’s indirect comments on RGV created sensation in political circles. CM usually avoids controversies linked to film personalities. He has already commented sharply against Nagarjuna for meeting with Jaganmohan Reddy. The election heat is forcing top leaders to react on all issues whether big or small.
