Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan, along with senior leader Nadendla Manohar, is in the United States of America and busy interacting with NRIs, media houses and senators. Janasena is planning ‘Pravasa Garjana’ in Dallas on 15th Dec. So ,Pawan is in US since last couple of days and meeting many people here.
Pawan’s meeting with Ben Carson, Secreatary Housing and Urban Development
Among the many meetings they were having, Pawan Kalyan and Nadendla Manohar called the meeting with Mr.Ben Carson in Washington DC is worthy. Both pawan and Nadendla discussed on how to bring investments to the underdeveloped areas and the creation of opportunity zones.
Pawan Kalyan tweeted,
“Among the many meetings we had in Washingtom DC, this one stood out.Here we are with hon. Ben Carson, Secretary Housing and Urban Development in which he explained about the creaton of “Opportunity zones”. A unique approach to bring investment into underdeveloped areas. A program worth exploring in our state.”
He also posted in twitter, the pics of him visiting Martin Luther king Jr..memorial and tweeted, “It’s great opportunity to be at civil rights leader,Martin Luther king Jr..memorial in Washington DC. His biography is the one,which I keep reading regularly to understand, how a leader has to go through the turbulent process & yet keep moving forward in the pursuit of his goal.”
Pawan’s Bloomberg interview:
Pawan Kalyan being interviewed by Bloomberg, a major global provider of 24-hour financial news and information. The interviewer called Pawan is a star like Denzel Washington or Tom Cruise. Full interview is yet to be aired but only promo of it is released.
About immigration issues:
Pawan also gave interviews to Telugu media and spoke about Immigration issues NRIs are facing, especially regarding the visas of their spouses and kids. He met senators of republican government as well as democratic senators. He told these senators also empathized with these issues as they are very much aware of the issues. Pawan added, there are almost 3.2 million Indians and around 4-5 lakhs of them are Telugu people and the problem needs to be resolved. Pawan also that senators told him , the govt had to take tough stand as some people misutilized the facility earlier. Democrats are even more positive towards resolving these issues, added Pawan.
Pravasa Garjana and Janatarangam
Pawan told, they initially planned to start engaging NRIs of UAE. He added, NRI’s are also play a crucial role in Indian politics. But, there are many groups here and we will interact with all of them, he added. He also spoke about recent initiative of the party, Janatarangam. He told, many people wanted to participate in this political system but their spirits are dampened by local politics, It is then,Nadendla Manohar gave him this idea of Janatarangam to engage masses.
On Alliances and other parties:
Pawan confirmed that, he will definitely not ally with TDP or YSRCP in 2019 but he may go with communists. He also told, allying with BJP is hara-kiri.He also dismissed Congress’s recent promise of Special Category Status to AP, saying people wont believe such last minute promises just before elections. He also told that, TRS’s allegation on looting of resources by earlier governments is a fact and that’s why Telangana movement came. He congratulated KCR for becoming CM again. He told, people didn’t believe Praja Kootami and rejected it the same way as they did it in 2009’s Maha Kootami.
