The Jana Sena Party has launched a fresh membership enrollment campaign as part of its efforts to strengthen its grassroots presence across Andhra Pradesh. The initiative was formally inaugurated by party president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at the party’s central office in Mangalagiri.
Marking the occasion, Pawan Kalyan contributed ₹2 crore toward the membership program and enrolled himself as the first member under the new drive. The party described the contribution as a commitment to strengthening the organisation and deepening outreach at the village level.
This is the second membership drive undertaken since the party came to power and the fourth overall since its inception. Jana Sena currently has 12.98 lakh registered members. Speaking at the event, Pawan Kalyan recalled that the party began with just 150 members. During the first phase of active membership enrollment in 2021, around 90,000 members joined. The number grew to six lakh before the elections and has now crossed 12.98 lakh.
The party has introduced structured categories to recognise its supporters. Members who understand and actively promote the party’s ideology will be identified as “Udyami.” Those who inspire others and expand the membership base will be called “Sadhak.” Individuals who contribute time, financial resources, technical expertise, or intellectual support to strengthen the organisation will be recognized as “Pradata.”
Pawan Kalyan emphasized that ideological clarity and commitment are more important than numbers alone. He stated that the party seeks dedicated individuals who are willing to carry forward its principles and aspirations.
Senior leaders, including Political Affairs Committee Chairman Nadendla Manohar and other party office bearers were present at the launch. The membership campaign is expected to play a key role in consolidating Jana Sena’s organisational structure across the state.
