Padma Shri Kamal Haasan has been away from films and floated his own political party Makkal Needhi Maiam. He has been meeting the people across Tamil Nadu through massive meets and road shows. He will soon shift his focus towards Indian 2 which will be directed by Shankar. The film will roll during the end of this year and is a sequel for his past super hit film Indian which discussed about the corruption in the country.
However Indian 2 will discuss about the current political system in the country and is all about a common man and how he made it big in Indian politics. Several major issues happening in the country will be discussed in detail and Kamal during his recent media interaction revealed that Indian 2 is a take on Indian political system. Lyca Productions will produce this big budget film and Indian 2 will have its release in 2019. Kamal is also busy with Bigg Boss 2 in Tamil which will start from June.
