Keerthi Suresh’s latest film Mahanati, a true-blue biopic which chronicles the life of iconic lady superstar Savitri, is undoubtedly one of the highly anticipated films this Summer. As a lot of positive buzz is riding on the film, the openings are going to be quite promising.
In overseas, Mahanati took off on a sensational note with solid numbers from its Wednesday premiers. As of this writing, the film notched up $ 282K ( approx ) from 150 locations which is an impressive start considering that it is the fourth highest premiers for this year in Tollywood.
As the film has been getting unanimous positive reports from premier shows, it is expected to have a dream run in overseas.
Directed by Nag Aswhin, the film is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies banner. Samantha Vijay Devarakonda Shalini Pandey Prakash Raj and Dulqueer Salmaan played crucial roles.
