The track, released under Anirudh’s label Albuquerque Records, marks the label’s first major independent release and has attracted significant attention from fans. However, much of the online discussion has focused on Jani Master’s involvement rather than the music itself.

The criticism stems from the ongoing legal case against Jani Master, who is facing charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and allegations of sexual harassment. He is currently out on conditional bail while the case remains pending in court. Many social media users questioned Anirudh’s decision to collaborate with the choreographer despite the unresolved proceedings, with some calling for greater accountability within the film industry. As of now, neither Anirudh Ravichander nor Jani Master has issued a public statement addressing the backlash.
