Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan dropped a bombshell on the BJP leaders over war-like situation on Pakistan border. He said that about two years ago itself, some BJP leaders told him about a likely war with the neighbouring country before the general election. Now, the border tensions have increased manifold as told by the BJP leaders at that time. From this, we can understand in what kind of a pitiable situation Indian political system is trapped and caught.
Pawan fired at the BJP leaders saying they are behaving as if their party is the only party which has patriotic fervour and nationalist zeal. Others also have ever greater patriotism. Jana Senani said the muslims of India have all the rights that hindus have in the country. There is no need for the muslims to show and prove their patriotism. Whether the hindus get good treatment or not in Pakistan, the muslims will always be looked after well in India. Our country is known since lost past as a country of dharma and peaceful coexistence.
Jana Senani’s comments created much political heat. Already, BJP ex CM Yeddyurappa’s comments brought lot of embarrassment to the BJP as it was seen as a party wanting to take political advantage out of war with neighbouring country.
