Now questions are being asked whether it was proper for Daggubati Purandeswari to contest on the BJP ticket while her husband Venkateswara Rao is contesting on the YCP ticket. The TDP says this is clear proof of how Jaganmohan Reddy is carrying out the politics of collusion and conspiracy in the AP.
TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna asserted that it was very unusual for wife and husband to contest from different political parties. In respect of Purandeswari, it’s a total violation of the code of self-respect that her father NT Rama Rao lived by to fight against the oppressive attitude of the Central Government.
Mr. Venkanna took objection to Purandeswari working for the BIP regardless of the fact that PM Modi is stopping funds and doing lot of injustice to the state. He said that the investigation into the CBI illegal assets cases against Jagan slowed down considerably only after the YCP surrendered to the BJP.
He said that graphics are being used excessively to show that the Jaganmohan Reddy election meetings are huge successes but all sections of people know about such gimmicks these days.
