Vangaveeti Radhakrishna is facing a crisis of his lifetime now. He had no respect from Jaganmohan Reddy in YSR Congress Party. But there is the caste factor that is making think twice before joining the ruling TDP. His self-respect is honoured to some extent as the TDP leaders met him and invited him to join their party. But there is no such invitation from Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan. Just like YCP, it is a fact Jana Sena is also run by a single individual’s whims and fancies. Radha cannot join Pawan party given the concentration of decision making and power in that party.
It seems Radha has finally considered TDP as the best option under the prevailing political conditions. All said and done, CM Chandrababu Naidu has got a huge track record for his experience and visionary leadership. Moreover, the once caste conflict between the Vangaveeti and the Devineni families is no longer continuing in field level.
In Radha’s opinion as is said in general, the caste is just the face of what is really a clash and conflict between groups of people. Now Radha has convinced his followers and members of Radha-Ranga Mitra Mandali spread over different districts on his decision to join the TDP. What self-respect is there when YCP imposed restrictions on Radha for unveiling his father Ranga’s statue? Radha’s followers have also come to terms with the facts. The impossible is becoming possible. Once arch enemies of the TDP are now joining the same party for political reasons.
