Kotla Suryaprakash’s dissidence has become a topic of discussion in Congress party. As per the latest reports, Rahul Gandhi is about to give appointment to Kotla in next couple of days and discuss with him.
It is known news that Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy vehemently opposed party’s decision to go for 2019 elections alone without any alliance with TDP or YSRCP. He argued this decision will put party’s future in jeopardy in AP. There were news that he would soon leave the party and chalk out his future plan in couple of days.
However, Congress party took a note of his objections and Congress bigwigs like Antony and Ahmed Patel spoke to him on phone and asked him to reconsider his decision. Given the 6 longdecades association of Kotla with Congress party, it is not surprising to see such reaction from Congress Bigwigs. As per reports, these leaders assured Kotla of an appointment with Rahul gandhi in couple of days so that he can voice out his concerns directly with the party supremo. So, for now, Kotla paused his discussions with other parties like TDP and YSRCP that are keen on pulling him to their forte.
