Superstar Rajinikanth has completed the shoot of his portions for Jailer 2 directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. For now, there is no clarity on the release date. Tamil media speculates that the film will either release in September or during the Diwali weekend. Rajinikanth is on a break and he is currently in Ooty spending quality time for himself. To beat the summer heat, Rajinikanth flew to Ooty and the veteran actor is currently working on his Autobiography.

Rajinikanth announced that he is penning his autobiography. As he has ample time to start the shoot of his next, he is now focused on completing his work on his autobiography. Rajinikanth will be seen in Thalaivar 173 and the film will be produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International. Ashwath Marimuthu is on board to direct this project. More details awaited.
