Talented Tamil actor Suriya is aiming to increase his market value in both the Telugu States with his upcoming film, 24, which is gearing up for a massive release on this 6th. Suriya, who enjoys a better fan following among the Telugu audience than many of the contemporary Tamil actors, hasn’t scored a big hit here after Ghajini. Undoubtedly, he has a strong market potential and almost all his movies have had a decent release in Telugu till now.
With 24, he will be looking to put himself a notch higher than what he was till now. 24 has been creating a lot of anticipation ever since the posters and the trailers got released. Billed as a science fiction thriller, the film has Suriya playing a triple role. Vikram Kumar of Manam fame is the director for the film.
The pre release business is quite solid in Andhra and Telangana. Also, the promotions have caught up well with the audience and resulted in huge buzz before the film’s release. 24 will be the highest ever release in Suriya’s career and interestingly the Telugu version will have a record release in US. So with huge release round the corner, 24 has a good chance of becoming the highest grosser in Suriya’s career if it manages a decent talk after the release.
It is well known that Suriya is in talks with Trivikram for a bilingual. Recently, Suriya hinted that the project might roll out sometime soon. So, 24 will be that one film that might help Suriya to gain a foothold in Telugu market and increase his potential here.
