Worldwide Theatrical rights of the film are valued at 28Cr and the recovery over the weekend is just a little over 10 percent . Embarrassment for Gayatri, fares worse than Inttelligent

Among the last week releases, only Varun Tej’s Tholi Prema managed to garner good talk and reviews. Mohan Babu’s Gayatri and Sai Dharam Tej’s Inttelligent failed to capture the interest of audience and registered abysmal collections.

Gayatri had a good plot on paper but the director couldn’t come up with a convincing narration. On the other hand, Inttelligent has been termed as a awfully bland product of VV Vinayak.

Critics and audience have rated Inttelligent very low compared to Gayatri. However, the collections of Gayatri are embarrassingly lesser than Inttelligent.

In Telugu states, Inttelligent fared slightly better than Gayatri. In overseas also Inttelligent collected better figures than Gayatri which is a huge embarrassment for Mohan Babu and his team.

Varun Tej’s Tholi Prema led the pack of last week’s releases with a fantastic first weekend haul at the overseas box office.

The romantic entertainer garnered more than $ 600K by the end of its first weekend and heading towards the million dollar mark with ease. After taking off to a good start with decent numbers from its Thursday premiers, the film punched out strong figures on Friday and Saturday to take the total past $ 500K. With Sunday’s $ 137K, the film’s first weekend gross stands at $ 656K.

Sai Dharam Tej’s Inttelligent and Mohan Babu’s Gayatri are going to end as one the biggest disasters at the overseas box office.

Inttelligent managed to collect a meagre $ 43 K in its first weekend and failed to recover the expenses. Gayatri had an embarrassing run with a total of $ 28K by the end of first weekend.

Overseas audience have thoroughly rejected both films due to their lacklustre content.

Inttelligent has taken very poor openings in Telugu States with a distributor share of 2.30 Cr. It has collected a distributor share of 55 lakhs in Nizam , 31 lakhs in Ceeded and 144 lakhs in Andhra area. The Collections are on par with Thikka which is the second lowest opener for Sai Dharam Tej. In comparison with Hero’s previous films Winner has collected 5.55 Cr , Supreme had collected 3.95 Cr. Even Subramanyam for sale and Jawaan have also collected above 3Cr share . With highest ever pre biz for the hero – 27Cr including all expenses in Telugu States and below 2.5 cr opening is disaster by all sorts.

Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej has been shattered by a series of debacles and the actor pinned many hopes on Inttelligent. The film has been declared as the biggest debacle in the careers of VV Vinayak and Sai Dharam Tej. The film even failed to register decent openings which left many industry bigwigs in shock. The makers of Tej’s next films have been re-considering their decision on teaming up with this Mega actor whose market fell to all time low.

Young director Gopichand Malineni is all set to work with Tej once again after a disaster like Winner. The film’s producers J Bhagavan and Pulla Rao are left in rethinking mode with the result of Inttelligent and they are in hunt for other options. Tej also gave his nod for Maruthi who is currently busy with Naga Chaitanya’s film. Maruthi already narrated a plot to Allu Arjun and wanted to direct Tej if Bunny’s project gets delayed. Now Maruthi is also not in a mood to team up with Sai Dharam Tej for his next. Ram Charan too asked Maruthi to come up with an interesting script to work together and Maruthi might shift focus on Charan and Bunny’s projects in the coming future.

Film industry is always after successful actors and technicians. After a series of debacles, Tej’s career is left now in troubles and it’s high time for the actor to pick up interesting scripts. The actor even gained considerable weight and looks bulky on screen. He needs to lose enough weight to look fit on screen. The young mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is famous not just for his mass appeal and stylish dances but also for choosing remix versions of his uncle Chiranjeevi. Even for his latest film Intelligent, the actor is featured in Chiranjeevi’s chartbuster song Chamaku Chamaku which raised many eyebrows. When asked about the same during the promotional event of the film, the witty hero gave a diplomatic answer.

Sai Dharam Tej said that the only reason why the remixes are done is to oblige the idea of directors and producers. He also said it is the minimum responsibility of an actor to follow the filmmaker’s opinion. The biggest confession from him came saying that he can never match the stamina of Chiranjeevi or the original composition!

When asked about his resemblance to Chiranjeevi in terms of looks, Sai Dharam Tej gave a thumping answer saying there can be only one Megastar and such opinions make him even more nervous!

No premiers for Inttelligent : SDT chickens out

No overseas premiers for Inttelligent

While most of the current generation stars are desperate to increase their market in overseas, Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is turning out to be an antithesis to them.

Sai’s Inttelligent is all set for release this Friday. Usually, all films get Thursday premiers in overseas and they play a very vital role in deciding the fate of the box office collections.

Fearing that a negative talk from premiers would impact the film’s openings here in India , Sai Dharam Tej and his producer have requested the overseas distributor to cancel the premier shows. Obliging their request, distributors have cancelled the Thursday premiers.

The VV Vinayak directional is carrying very little buzz among audience. The outdated trailer has further doused the expectations on the film.

Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej is testing his luck with his next film Inttelligent. Sensational director VV Vinayak directed the film and Lavanya Tripathi played the female lead. The trailer and the songs from the film received wide response from the audience and SS Thaman composed the tunes. C Kalyan produced this big budget mass entertainer which is hitting the screens this Friday. On the occasion of the film’s release, Lavanya Tripathi interacted with the media revealing many interesting things about Inttelligent. Here is her exclusive interview:

About your role in Inttelligent?

I played Sandhya in the film who returns from USA after completing studies and takes care of her dad’s business. Sandhya is quite dominating and angry. The interesting point in the film is how Sandhya falls in love. Inttelligent has a cute love story and will connect with youth.

How was it working with Sai Dharam Tej?

Sai Dharam Tej looks energetic and he is one of the finest dancers. We had enough fun on the sets of Inttelligent. Our chemistry in the film will be widely discussed after the release of film. We enjoyed well while shooting in Muscat.

What is the main theme of Inttelligent?

Inttelligent itself has an intelligent story, a very typical commercial entertainer. Inttelligent is the story of a youngster who fought against the evils for the poor and the society. Sai Dharam Tej plays Dharma Bhai and his character looks powerful.

Did you take any special care for dances in Inttelligent?

For the first time in his career I had to practise for dances. ‘Chamak Chamak’ remix was the toughest one for us as the song had huge expectations. All the other songs will appeal to masses. Dancing with Tej was a great experience for me.

How was it working with Vinayak garu?

VV Vinayak is very humble and sweet person. He is quite down to earth and made us always comfortable on the sets of the film. Vinayak is one director who has utmost clarity about films. I learned a lot of things from during the film’s shoot.

How do you accept hits and flops?

Success and failures in films are quite common. I love to learn from my failures and collect feedback from everyone. I even take compliments and received many for Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Soggade Chinni Nayana. Inttelligent is one more milestone in my career.

About choosing your roles?

I love to do different films and my character is my first priority. I keep my 100% effort for the film.

How was it working with CK Entertainments?

C Kalyan is one passionate producer who is focussed only on films. He never compromised on the film’s quality and erected massive sets for action episodes along with songs. I would love to work with this production house again if given an opportunity.

About SS Thaman’s music?

I loved the music of Inttelligent completely. The recent pre-release event that took place in Rajamundry was a huge hit and over 50000 people attended the event. I was blessed to attend the event and SS Thaman’s music will elevate Inttelligent well.

Are you in plans to lend your voice in future for your films?

I would love to dub for my roles. I am currently learning Telugu and will soon lend my voice for my films.

Your upcoming movies?

I am working with Vijay Devarakonda in the direction of Parasuram. Geetha Arts is producing this film and I have offers in Tamil and Malayalam. Telugu films are my first priority and I love to be in Hyderabad.

Inttelligent Overseas Release by 1.2:4 Production

There’s a great deal of anticipation surrounding actor Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming film with V.V. Vinayak, Inttelligent.

After all, the director is still fresh from the blockbuster success of one of the most awaited comebacks of Telugu cinema history – Chiranjeevi in Khaidi No. 150. Megastar Chiranjeevi is someone who is not just concerned about choosing good movies but also meticulously works on the release timing and production related activities. Now, the actor along with his producer brother in law are deeply upset about the releases lined up.
As per the schedule, the versatile hero Varun Tej’s romantic flick Tholi Prema and Sai Dharam Tej’s Inttelligent are releasing on the next weekend of February. These two films are releasing with just a day gap.

Popular producer Dil Raju acquired the theatrical rights of Varuntej’s next outing Tholi Prema which has been slated for February 9th release. The film’s music has been a smashing hit and Tholi Prema has been carrying huge buzz all over. Venky Atluri is the director and Rashi Khanna is the female lead. Tholi Prema is all set to clash with Sai Dharam Tej’s Inttelligent which has been announced for release on the same day. However the latest update says that Tholi Prema has been pushed ahead by a day to avoid Mega clash.

Dil Raju was not in a mood to release Tholi Prema in between a bunch of films releasing on February 9th. Hence he informed the makers and Tholi Prema will now release on February 10th all over. Nikhil’s Kirrak Party and Mohan Babu’s Gayatri too have been announced for release on February 9th. There are talks that Dil Raju convinced the film’s producer BVSN Prasad about the film’s postponement. An official announcement will be made soon.

As per the reports, the intro song ‘ Let’s Do’ will be released by Prabhas today evening at 4 o Clock.

No Buyers for Sai Dharam Tej’ss Inttelligent

Supreme Star Sai Dharam Tej who was once in limelight has been shattered with back to back debacles. The actor pinned all his hopes on his next film Inttelligent which has been directed by VV Vinayak. With bunch of films releasing on February 9th and the poor track record of Sai Dharam Tej, Inttelligent has been carrying low buzz. On the flip side, the film’s producer C Kalyan has been quoting huge prices because of which his buyers have been taking a U Turn. Despite of Vinayak’s request, C Kalyan is not bothered and has been dealing the buyers in his own style.
