Trailer of Rana’s ‘Nene Raju, Nene Mantri’ in Tamil released

Actor Rana Daggubatis upcoming Telugu political drama “Nene Raju, Nene Mantri” has been dubbed in Tamil as “Naan Aanaiyitaal”, and its trailer was unveiled on Sunday.

Rana has tweeted the trailer of the film’s dubbed Tamil version.

The trailer reveals Rana in a full-length political avatar and this could easily be his most commercial role yet.

Talking about the trailer, the film’s director Teja said in a statement: “It will bring to light Rana’s ability to transform into Jogendra’s character with laden attitude.”

Also starring Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa, the film is produced by Suresh Daggubati, CH Bharath Chowdhary and V Kiran Reddy.

The film also stars Ashutosh Rana and Navdeep.

‘Nene Raju, Nene Mantri’ is a very special film: Kajal Aggarwal

Actress Kajal Aggarwal, who has reunited with filmmaker Teja for upcoming Telugu political drama “Nene Raju, Nene Mantri”, says it is a very special film in her career for many reasons.

“This is indeed a very special film for several reasons. First and foremost, I have teamed up with my mentor Teja sir for the second time after a decade,” Kajal told IANS.

Kajal made her acting debut with Teja’s “Lakshmi Kalyanam”.

“It’s been a pleasure working with him (Teja) as he encourages me to unlearn the nuances I have picked up over the span of my film career and to look at my character and this film with a fresh perspective,” she said.

She plays a character called Radha in the film, co-starring Rana Daggubati.

“Secondly, exchange of ideas, opinions and challenges make you think out of the box and I have felt this was possible because of the comfort level I share with Rana. Working with friends is always fun and this has been a fabulous few months,” she said.

Also, “Nene Raju, Nene Mantri” is Kajal’s 50th film and that makes it even more special.

Kajal says the film, which will simultaneously release in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, will be the best birthday gift as she turns 32 on Monday.

“Nene Raju, Nene Mantri” also stars Catherine Tresa, Navdeep and Ashutosh Rana.

Actor Rana Daggubati says he will dedicate the teaser of his upcoming Telugu political drama “Nene Raju, Nene Mantri”, to be released on Tuesday, to his late grandfather and producer D. Rama Naidu as his birth anniversary gift.

In a statement, Rana said he would like to dedicate the teaser to his grandfather.

Talking about the film, in which he plays a politician, Rana said: “I love the audacity of my character Jogendra in the film. The teaser is packed with gripping moments and it gives a glimpse of Jogendra’s attitude.”

Directed by Teja, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa.
