Tejaswi Madivada is one among 16 contestants participating in Bigg Boss season 2 Telugu and he joined the show in celebrity category. She is well known to Telugu audience because of her roles in movies like Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Ice Cream. Also, she is known to TV audience as she was seen in TV shows like Tollywood squares hosted by Navadeep. She is a dance choreographer turned actress. She worked as a dancer, a journalist, and now working as an actor.
Tejaswi Madivada studied mass communication in college after which worked as a journalist for a year. Then, she participated in a beauty pageant at Miss Dabur Gulabari 2011, a beauty pageant, where she was the second runner-up. After this beauty pageant, Tejaswi Madivada got chance to dance with Allu Arjun in a 7 Up commercial. After that ad, Tejaswi Madivada got her next role as Samantha’s sister is Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu movie.
Tejaswi Madivada made her acting debut in 2013 with Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and became noted after starring in Ice Cream. She acted in more than 20 movies. She acted in supporting roles in movies like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Manam and Heart Attack and acted as heroine in movies like Ice Cream. She had even acted in web series titled ‘Manna Mugguri Luv Story’ with Navadeep as hero. It was written by Nandini Reddy and produced by Swapna Dutt.
In an interview, Tejaswi Madivada revealed that after her mother passed away, her father could not take care of family well and she left the house to lead the life independently. Being an independent woman, making own career in film industry is not an easy thing to do in life. But she could achieve it and she says she owes a lot to her friends who supported her through the lean phase of life. She also describes herself as tomboy.
During the show she also revealed that she worked in a job for 15 thousand salary per month but after moving to film industry, she got paid with 12 thousand per day.
