Brand strategist Kaveri Baruah made sensational allegations against Icon Star Allu Arjun saying that there are a lot of protocols implemented before meeting the actor. The allegations also revealed a 42-rule report. After a swift response from the team of Allu Arjun, the podcast was removed online but the videobytes have been circulated across social media. The team of Allu Arjun have announced initiating legal proceedings against Kaveri Baruah and Sweekriti.
Kaveri Baruah and Sweekriti have now issued apologies and taken back their statements. They said that the allegations are false. They also made it clear that the 42-rule document that is being circulated online was not issued by them and the team of Allu Arjun has never issued any restrictions. Kaveri Baruah took a complete U-turn. She alleged that the actor’s team gave her a list of 42 dos and don’ts before she met him. She now admitted that the 42-Rule Report was never issued by the team of Allu Arjun. She said that the comments were made in the flow of the conversation.
Kaveri Baruah took her social media platform to post “Upon reflection, I wish to clarify that these statements were incorrect and were not based on any verified document or factual material. To be clear, no document containing ‘42 dos and don’ts’ was issued to me by Mr Allu Arjun or by anyone acting on his behalf. My remarks were made in the flow of conversation and should not have been presented as factual assertions. I sincerely regret making those statements and any misunderstanding or reputational harm they may have caused. I withdraw the remarks in their entirety. I have the utmost respect for Mr Allu Arjun and his body of work, and I regret any inconvenience caused”.
Podcaster Sweekriti clarified that the podcast episode was removed completely.
