Midas touch filmmaker Dil Raju has had 5 releases this year. He will round off the year with the release of Nani’s MCA which is gearing up to hit the screens on December 21st. The successful producer is looking to better his own record by releasing nearly seven films in 2018. He is currently busy with the pre production activities of these projects which will start rolling very soon.
Mahesh Babu’s film in the direction of Vamshi Paidipally will be jointly produced by Dil Raju and Aswini Dutt. The film will kick off in February and will release for Dusheera.
Dil Raju teamed up with energetic hero Ram for the first time in his career. Nenu Local fame Trinadha Rao will direct the film which will start its regular shooting in February and will release in August.
Young hero Nithiin reunited with Dil Raju after 14 years for a film titled as Srinivasa Kalyanam to be directed by Satish Vegesena. The family drama will commence in Summer next year and is likely to hit the screens in September.
Also next in line for Dil Raju are Anil Ravipudi and Harish Shankar’s multi-starrers films. Anil Ravipudi’s F2 ( Fun and Frustration) will have Victory Venkatesh and Vijay Devarakonda in the lead roles. Harish Shankar’s Dagudu Muthalu will star Nithiin and Sharwanand. Both these films will start in Summer next year and are going to release towards the end of next year.
Apart from these five films, Dil Raju is producing Raj Tarun’s Lover which is currently on floors and also he will bankroll Varun Tej’s film which will be helmed by a debutant director.
All these seven films are most likely aiming to release in 2018,making Dil Raju a busy bee overseeing the production activities of them simultaneously.
