Mahanati, the biopic of legendary actress Savitri turned out to be a super hit and it has been winning the hearts of the audience. The movie turned out to be a discussion nationwide because of the strong content, stellar performances and the poetic narration. Now Bollywood top producer Aditya Chopra heard about the film and he watched it between the audience on Tuesday. Impressed with the way the film has been made, he is keen on acquiring the dubbing rights of the film.
Aditya Chopra feels that the film should be dubbed into Hindi to carry the Telugu culture. He is in talks with the makers however a deal is yet to be locked. The film’s producer Priyanka Dutt too confirmed that they are in plans to take Mahanati across the country to reach wider sections of audience and they have been looking for the best options.
Nag Ashwin directed Mahanati while Keerthy Suresh played the lead role. Swapna Cinema and Vyjayanthi Movies bankrolled this prestigious project.
