Businessman Raj Kundra was arrested recently by the Mumbai cops after he is believed to be the key player in creating pornographic content for the app Hotshots. His wife and actress Shilpa Shetty canceled all her shoots after his arrest and is tightlipped. A speculation made waves that Shilpa Shetty too will be questioned about her involvement in this case. The Mumbai cops revealed that Shilpa Shetty will not be served any summons in the case. The veteran actress in her first post after Raj Kundra’s arrest posted that she would survive the challenges in the future. There are rumors that she was sacked from a tv show after the arrest of her husband as per the reports from Bollywood media. For now, Shilpa Shetty decided to take a break from the show and she is replaced by Karishma Kapoor.
Several models and actresses made allegations on Raj Kundra after his arrest. Some of the reports say that the businessman paid Rs 25 lakhs as a bribe for the Mumbai crime cops to evade his arrest. The crime branch officials conducted a raid on his residence yesterday and they seized a server along with 70 porn videos. They are sent to the Forensic analysis. The banks are asked to provide the transaction details of Raj Kundra along with the accounts of his companies from the past two years. Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale called Raj Kundra the key conspirator in the case and he said that there is sufficient evidence for the same.
