Everybody thought of waiting for six months to one year to have a proper assessment of CM Jaganmohan Reddy’s performance. But, in just over a month, opinions are being given on how Jagan is going to push the state into a deeper economic crisis. After 50 days of his regime, more and more sections of people are losing hope and patience. As criticism is intensifying, IAS officers are under huge stress to the explain for the steady decline in delivery of services since the YCP came to power. But, Jagan is only asking them to implement his populist schemes without showing sources of revenue generation.

The widespread power cuts is bringing heat on YCP leaders who asked Industry Secretary Nagulapalli Srikanth to rectify. There is nothing he can do as the wind energy generation came down due to lack of favourable weather. Moreover, Jagan regime is against buying power at higher rates. Thus the officials are coming under intense pressure to deliver services with limited resources. Analysts say Jagan is thinking that the CM post gave him a divine right to ask for anything he wants and the officials should simply make it happen.
