Charming Star Sharwa’s Biker features Rajasekhar in a pivotal role, and the glimpse introducing him as Bullet Sunil has already received terrific response. The father–son emotional thread is said to be the heart of this high-octane sports drama.
With Biker set to hit theatres in just three days, Rajasekhar shared that it’s been a while since his last release and he’s eagerly looking forward to April 3. “As the release date gets closer, my excitement keeps increasing. I’m curious to know how the audience will receive it,” he said.
He also opened up about his long-standing love for bikes. “Whenever I visited my grandparents during holidays, I would roam around the entire village on a Bullet bike. Over time, my interest in bikes only grew. During the filming of Seshu, I bought a Yamaha 650cc myself and even used it in the shoot. I continued riding it regularly later too. But apparently, the way I rode was too risky—without my knowledge, Jeevitha sold the bike,” he recalled with a smile.
Rajasekhar praised director Abhilash Reddy as a dedicated filmmaker with a clear vision and command over performances, story, and characterisation. “Abhilash doesn’t compromise until he gets exactly what he wants. His clarity helped present my character in a refreshing way. The bike-racing sequences are on par with Hollywood, beautifully woven with strong father–son emotions.”
The senior actor also appreciated Sharwa and showered praise on the producers at UV Creations. “UV Creations means royal treatment. They never hesitate to spend on quality. They made this film with Hollywood-level standards and didn’t compromise anywhere, whether in the content or the technical excellence. I genuinely wish the film becomes a huge success and recovers all the investment. I’m confident Biker will be a sure-shot hit.”
Rajasekhar also revealed he plans to watch the film on release day along with the audience in theatres. While the movie will grace cinemas on April 3rd, paid premieres will be screened tomorrow.
