Directed by Dasaradh, Mr Perfect released in 2011 and emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year. Prabhas Kaja and Taapsee played the lead roles while Dil Raju bankrolled the project. Novelist Shyamala Rani accused the team of Mr Perfect of stealing the plot from her novel ‘Na Manasu Korindi Ninne’. A case has been registered against the team after se approached Miyapur court. The film’s director Dasaradh stepped out with a proof that he penned the script and registered it in 2009 which is even before her novel got published.
Dasaradh revealed that he wanted to clarify about the issue after his close friends have advised him. The Telugu Cine Writers Association too clarified that the script of Mr Perfect has been registered on February 19th 2009. Dasaradh clarified that it was 18 months before the release of her novel, the script got registered. He even said that he got a nod from Prabhas during December 2008 while he was shooting for Billa in Malaysia. Despite of explaining all these, Shyamala Rani registered a case and Dasaradh called it unfortunate.
