Ahead of Jagan’s restarting of padayatra, his mother Vijayamma has demanded an explanation from the TDP government on the knife attack case. She asked why there was an inordinate delay in the investigation into the incident. She also asked the AP government to break its silence on how the knife could be brought inside the high security airport in Visakhapatnam and who were the culprits behind this.
Vijayamma has been finding fault with the TDP leaders with regard to the attempt to murder case on Jagan. She appealed to the people of the state to look after the safety and security of her son as the TDP government is not taking any responsibility to the Opposition leader.
Stating that why TDP is afraid of facing an investigation by central agencies, Vijayamma said that she received information from a highly placed source about some people conspiring to kill Jagan. There were conspiracies to eliminate Jagan during his padayatra in Godavari districts and also in Guntur district as well.
Vijayamma asked the people and YCP sympathisers to protect her son. She deplored that though YSR served Congress party for 30 years selflessly, that party had implicated YSR family members in CBI cases while in power.
