After a gala time at Gali Janardhan Reddy’s daughter marriage, now it seems that all the stars and celebrities are remorseful for attending the lavish marriage after they received money for performing before the guests.
It may be recalled that south Indian film stars Tamannah Bhatia, Rakul Preeth Singh, Priyamani and Catherine Tresa had made a sizzling performance during wedding of Gali’s daughter Brahmani marriage with Hyderabad-based industrialist Rajiv Reddy. All the stars including comedian star Brahmananda had received a whopping remuneration. The issue assumed significance and has became a hot topic in the filmy circles.
As part of the demonetisation drive, the IT officials raided Gali Janardhan Reddy’s assets and inquired about the cash of Rs 500 crore that was spent on wedding. They are also questioning how the stars were paid after the performance – is it a cash? Or gold? Some reports surfaced in the media claimed that Rakul Preeth Singh received a whopping amount of Rs 1 crore as remuneration.
Now the news abuzz that the IT officials reportedly sent notices to Rakul Preeth Singh and other stars questioning accountancy of the money they were paid. However, the Delhi beauty rubbished the reports saying “baseless”.
