YCP-TRS secret deal and Jagan’s pro-KCR comments have provoked angry reactions from the TDP. The ruling party launched a strong attack. TDP Rajya Sabha MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar accused YCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy of colluding with KCR and PM Modi despite the fact that the TRS government is trying hard to stop irrigation projects in Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan should explain to the AP people why KCR government has filed many objections and cases in the Supreme Court against even the lifeline Polavaram and Pothireddypadu projects.
Mr Ravindra Kumar said that now the Telangana government is demanding closure of the Pothireddypadu project which would badly harm the irrigation and drinking water supply sources to backward Rayalaseema region. KCR is taking all steps to stop Krishna water release from the Srisailam project to Right Canal, Telugu Ganga and Galeru-Nagari projects which supply water to lakhs of acres in Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur districts.
sad part is Jagan is not talking about crucial development factors – infrastructure development, industrialization, agriculture growth, irrigation projects, economy & revenue development for the state; perhaps this indicates that he neither have any plans to address any of these nor the will/capability to do any in the above crucial subjects; very poor campaign.
